Bachelor's Regalia
A Bachelor’s Regalia Package is available for purchase in-store or online at campusstore.ucsb.edu.
The Bachelor’s Regalia Package costs $79.99.
The package includes;
  • Bachelor's black gown
  • Mortarboard-style cap with black tassel and date charm
  • UC Santa Barbara 2023 stole of gratitude.

Master's Regalia
The Campus Store offers two types of Master’s regalia:

An economy Master’s Regalia Package is available for $94.99 in-store or online at campusstore.ucsb.edu.
The package includes;
  • Master's black gown
  • Hood in the color of your degree
  • Mortarboard-style cap with a black tassel and 2023 charm.

The second type of Master’s regalia is a high-quality custom-tailored package intended for multi-use wear.
It includes;
  • High-quality custom-tailored gown
  • High-quality Master’s hood in the color of your degree
  • Black deluxe mortarboard-style cap with black tassel and 2023 charm,
  • Garment bag with a wooden hanger.
The Master’s Custom Regalia Package is $691.00 and takes 6-8 weeks to produce.
The deadline for ordering the Master’s Custom Regalia Package is April 10th.

PhD Regalia
The Campus Store offers two types of Master’s regalia.
An economy PhD Regalia Package is available for $119.99 in-store or online at: campusstore.ucsb.edu.
The package includes:
  • PhD black gown
  • PhD blue and gold hood
  • Mortarboard-style cap with gold tassel and 2023 charm.

The second type of PhD regalia comes in two styles and is a high-quality custom-tailored package intended for multi-use wear.
It includes;
  • High-quality custom-tailored gown
  • High-quality PhD blue and gold hood
  • Official UC blue tam with gold braided tassel (Windsor) or black tam (Sussex)
  • Garment bag with a wooden hanger.

    • The Windsor UC Official PhD Custom Regalia Package is $999.00 and takes 6-8 weeks to produce.

    The Sussex PhD Custom Regalia Package is $740.00 and takes 6-8 weeks to produce. The deadline for ordering the PhD Custom Regalia Package is April 10th.

    Regalia Care Instructions
    • Remove the gown from the bag as soon as you can.
    • Try the gown on and make sure the zipper works and the length are appropriate, anywhere from right below the knee to the ankle. The zipper will be at the bottom of the gown and should be in the upright position so it doesn’t lock when trying on the garment.
    • Place the gown on a hanger to let the folds fall out. If you hang it in the bathroom while showering the steam will help the folds to come out. DO NOT IRON.
