BARC Account FAQs

UCSB students can now charge eligible Apple purchases in the Campus Store to their BARC account, provided the account is in good standing and does not have any financial blocks. BARC charges for these transactions will be billed in full at the beginning of the month following the purchase. The full purchase price will be debited from your BARC account at that time.

Campus Store BARC Purchase Inquiry

At this time, the Campus Store is only authorized to charge Apple products to a student’s BARC account.

Your account will be charged in full at the beginning of the month following the purchase. For example, if a purchase is made on February 24, your account will be charged on March 1.

The Campus Store is not responsible for initiating a payment plan with the BARC Billing Office. Students may use their BARC account for their Apple purchase as a form of payment, but this is not a payment plan.

No. The one-time Computer Loan is administered through Financial Aid. Any inquiries regarding this program should be directed to www.finaid.ucsb.edu.
